Dr. Layton is the leading provider of Renuvion skin resurfacing in Texas. If you are located in Kerrville, Houston, San Antonio or the nearby areas of Texas, there is no better place to try this effective treatment than Layton Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
What is Renuvion?
Renuvion, also known as J-Plasma, is a revolutionary anti-aging treatment that uses helium to safely exfoliate damaged and aged skin. Laser treatments use high-heat systems that result in unwanted side effects and can even damage the skin around the treatment areas. Renuvion is able to produce better results than laser resurfacing treatments with less heat, resulting in a safer treatment that can be used even in the most delicate areas. The Renuvion treatment can be used to address lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin on all areas of the face and neck. It can also be easily combined with other treatments, such as dermal fillers and injectables.
How Much Does Renuvion Cost?
The cost of a Renuvion treatment can range from $1,250 to $3,500 depending on the extent of treatment necessary to deliver your desired results. During your consultation, Dr. Layton will be able to provide you with a treatment plan that matches your specific needs. At this point, we will be able to provide you with the exact cost of your treatment. We also offer financing services to help make this and other treatments more affordable.
Why Choose Layton Aesthetic Plastic Surgery for Renuvion?
Renuvion is a cutting-edge rejuvenation procedure that exceeds the abilities of laser resurfacing treatments. Dr. Layton of Layton Aesthetic Plastic Surgery is the first doctor in Texas to offer this treatment because of his extensive knowledge and expertise on the device. Dr. Layton helped design the Renuvion system, and continues to help train other professionals to successfully offer this treatment. As such, he has more experience with Renuvion than any other doctor in Texas.
What is the Renuvion Treatment Like?
The Renuvion treatment is a two-part process that is performed with the aid of an anesthetic to ensure patient comfort. First, the handpiece will be passed over the skin, exfoliating the outermost layers of the dermis. The handpiece will then be passed over the skin a second time. On the second pass, the Renuvion system will tighten the skin, reducing lines and wrinkles at a deeper level. As a result, patients can completely eliminate aged skin and achieve firmer, more youthful skin in a single treatment.
Is There Any Downtime After Renuvion?
After Renuvion, it takes the skin six weeks to fully heal. It is important to keep the skin clean and moisturized following the procedure in order for it to recover properly. For the first two weeks, you will have to avoid wearing makeup. Despite these post-care instructions, you should be able to participate in most normal activities immediately following treatment. However, many patients choose to relax at home for about a week to let the skin heal and allow any redness and swelling to fade.
What Kind of Results Can I Expect from Renuvion?
The Renuvion treatment will produce noticeable results immediately, but it will take a few weeks for the skin to heal and for the full results to become visible. Unlike most skin resurfacing treatments, Renuvion is a one-time treatment. Multiple treatments are not necessary, and the results from Renuvion will be permanent. However, the skin may still develop gradual changes over the years due to the natural aging process.
